Component cables to miss Aussie Wii launch [UPDATE]

Speaking to IGN AU, Vispi Bhopti, Nintendo Australias PR king, who has revealed that the much wanted Wii Component cables will miss the Aussie launch by a “”few days””. HDTV and Component input capable TV owners will sadly have to wait a few days to see their Wii games in glorious 480p. The Wii ships with Composite AV Cables as standard.

Update: Readers have pointed out that the two articles on IGN say two different things, however we have confirmed with Nintendo that the Wii component cables will hit Australia within a few days of release.
