Codename S.T.E.A.M. arriving in May with guest Fire Emblem characters

In today’s Nintendo Direct, it was revealed that Codename S.T.E.A.M. will be arriving on May 16th this year, and will be compatible with Fire Emblem character amiibos.
The Fire Emblem amiibos, Marth, Lucina, Ike and Robin, will all unlock these characters for use in Codename S.T.E.A.M., and each character will have their own specific special abilities.
Similar to the games from which they came, the Fire Emblem characters will not be able to be revived when killed on the battlefield, however they can return to the team once the mission is complete.
Intelligent Systems, developers of S.T.E.A.M. have quite a strategy pedigree from Advance Wars to Fire Emblem, so we have high hopes for their upcoming title.
