They know how to name them.

Before indies made it cool to bring out strong narrative driven games on Steam there was CiNG, they released some great games for the Nintendo DS that were one of a kind. Another Code (Trace Memory), Hotel Dusk: Room 215 and Last Window: The Secret of Cape West brought some mature and moody adventuring to the Nintendo DS – until CiNG went bust.

Now, at least part of CiNG is returning with Chase: Unsolved Cases Investigation Division – Distant Memories. The game is being led by Taisuke Kanasaki – the director of the games mentioned above – and according to reports other ex-CiNG staff members are along for the ride. The game is to be published by Arc System Works.

Some screenshots have been released as well which show off that familiar style. The game is coming to the Nintendo 3DS eShop in Japan this Autumn (Spring in Japan). We hope we can get the game here, Nintendo get on it.
