One final farewell

The story of Celeste, an incredible platformer developed by Extremely OK Games (formerly Matt Makes Games), is finally coming to an end.

Chapter 9: Farewell is now available to download on all platforms including the Nintendo Switch, alongside version 1.3.0.0 of the game. Chapter 9 includes over 100 new levels, over 40 minutes of new music (and naturally, they’re all bangers), and a host of new mechanics and items. And the best part — it’s entirely free!

Version 1.3.0.0 comes with a gigantic list of mostly minor changes, including updates to B-Sides in Chapters 5 and 6, optimised loading on consoles, more visible checkpoint icons, and a few other things that are a little bit spoilery. You can see the full list of updates and additions in the changelog by clicking here.

Celeste is available on the Nintendo Switch eShop for $30.00 AUD. You can click here to buy it in your browser.
