Cave Story+ coming to Switch this Winter

Switch is the next platform to receive the game, unlikely to be the last

Nicalis have announced that Cave Story+ is hitting Switch, in North America at least, on June 22nd and will be available digitally and at retail. Of course, given the region free nature of the Switch, there is nothing stopping you from ordering it from places like Amazon yourself.

The game is coming with polished HD graphics, though given its pixel look, I am not sure what that means. But in addition to that, players will also get seven different play modes, including Boss Rush and Wind Fortress, over 20 boss battles, 10 unique weapons, 15 levels and 4 different endings and all that for $30 US or about $40 AUD. Here is the box art and some in game screens for your eyes to enjoy.

No local release date has been announced as of yet either.

So, I have been gaming since controllers only had two buttons and because I wanted to, I started my own site. Now of course, you can find me writing for Vooks as well
