Catch of the Day will have the SNES Mini on sale from 5:00pm AEST, but there’s a catch

Earlier in the week reported that Catch of the Day would have SNES Mini consoles for preorder today, now we know when exactly.
Kotaku is reporting that Catch of the Day will begin selling their allocation of the SNES Mini from 5:00pm AEST today. That’s 3:00pm for those in Western Australia and 4:30PM for Adelaide and Darwin.
The catch (ha) is that you’ll need to be a Catch Club member, this $69 a year service comes with a 30 day free trial so if you’re going to buy from them we recommend you start the trial now.
The fun doesn’t stop there with Catch selling the system for $10 more than RRP. Postage is free because you’re a Catch Club member right? So this is just purely skimming $10 off the top.
Wonderful.

A rip yep, but if you sign up to cash rewards.com.au, you’ll get about $4 back in cash back.
And… sold out!
Luckily I learned from last time. I also used my phone app, paid w/card and got an order in.
It doesn’t qualify for Club postage reductions apparently, so cost $128 something… eh… at least I have one when released.
Preordered mine from EB. Looking forward to some new old Star Fox action!
Well, update, I just got refunded the delivery fee from Catch.
Guess it was just an administrative error. Glad they fixed it without asking in a hurry.
