The health-conscious development team may give up their attendance at next months E3 in Los Angeles, citing concerns over swine flu.

The big-time developer of some of the Wii and DS’s biggest franchises, Capcom Japan are heeding the warnings of government officials since a surprise outbreak of the virus resulted in 130 cases reported from the Osaka-Kobe region. The outbreak is assumed to have originated from North American tourists arriving in the region, and has many Japanese nervous about travelling abroad. Regardless of whether the Japanese team is still able to make it to the event in person, they will still be contributing new game content for exhibition. Of course, Capcom’s American team will be there with all guns blazing, fearless in the face of a deadly pandemic.
