Capcom take the handlebars of the Moto GP games
Capcom has today announced that it will be handling the Moto GP games for the next five years, not surprisingly after bringing out last years Moto GP 07 on the PS2. Capcom now however has the rights to bring the games to all platforms including the Nintendo Wii and DS which have never had the games previously. MotoGP is the worlds premier motorcycling championship consisting of 18 Grands Prix hosted around the globe. More inside Capcom says that We are very excited to have signed this long term agreement with Dorna Sports, which for the first time grants one publisher worldwide multi-platform rights to the adrenaline fuelled world of MotoGP. We feel this move to a single publisher will greatly benefit our ability to develop titles that deliver more authenticity and excitement to the consumer. While a Wii or DS version hasnt been announced conclusively its looking likely now.
