Capcom not confirming Monster Hunter XX for Switch localisation “at this time”

There’s been a bit of a confusion and furore over some comments made to GameSpot around Monster Hunter XX and its localisation or lack thereof.

GameSpot yesterday originally reported that Capcom said to them that Monster Hunter XX would not be localised in the west for the Nintendo Switch.

Since that original story, Capcom, via its Monster Hunter Twitter account has said something different;

At this point, it seems if Monster Hunter XX is to come to Switch in the west, Capcom really don’t want to announce it yet. If it’s not then, they’re really wanting to push Monster Hunter World instead. Whatever the case is, “no plans to localise (MHXX) at this time” is still kind of vague.
