8Bitdo is well-known for creating fantastic retro-inspired bluetooth controllers (like the NES30 Pro) that also work near-flawlessly with the Nintendo Switch. Its latest creation, the NES30 Arcade Stick (as if their naming couldn’t get any more confusing), is now available for preorder, but there’s a catch — it’s only available for preorder on Amazon in the US, for now at least.
The NES30 Arcade Stick — which boasts 8 arcade-style buttons, a very cool retro joystick, bluetooth connectivity and full Switch support — is priced at $79.99USD before shipping to Australia, which will set you back a further $20USD or so, and ships on August 20th. That’s roughly $125 in Aussie Dollarydoos, which is honestly a bit steep, but definitely worth it for those that like that authentic arcade feel when playing fighting games.
There’s no telling if it’ll get any sort of local pricing or release, though EB’s recent stocking of some of 8Bitdo’s other controllers is a good sign at the very least. We’ll bring you any updates if something pops up in our neck of the woods but if you can’t wait to preorder, you can click this link to go to Amazon’s listing.
