Camelot are bringing Mario Golf: World Tour to the third dimension

Tee off in glorious 3D for the first time in the franchise

Another announcement to come out of the latest Nintendo Direct – Mario Golf: World Tour will be coming to the Nintendo 3DS and will be developed by series stalwart Camelot Software Planning.

Not much was revealed – we do know there will be realistic courses and “gimmick” courses available to the player, though no mention was made of the fan favourite RPG mode that was disappointingly absent from Mario Tennis Open for the 3DS.

All we can really comment on at the moment is the game’s presentation – which looks top notch, especially for the 3DS.

Mario Golf: World Tour is releasing this year though we’ve yet to get a solid date. As with the other titles announced this Nintendo Direct, we’ll be sure to keep you updated as it rolls in.
