Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 coming to the Wii as well
No one left out this year as well, except for 3DS owners
The mega-huge Call of Duty franchise is headed backed to the Wii. Modern Warfare 3 will launch on the Wii alongside the PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 versions later this year.
The news was revealed during a investor call yesterday by Activision’s Eric Hirshberg. He said the game is being released on the Wii "so as not to leave any of the community out of the excitement." There’s no DS or 3DS version though, so not everyone is getting in on the fun.
It’s expected that Treyarch will again be the ones behind the game, they’ve done a wonderful job of porting Black Ops and Modern Warfare to the Wii previously and we expect them to do this game.
The game is out on November 8th. Don’t expect to see anything on the Wii version until it’s in stores, that’s how Activision roll.
