Call of Duty: Ghosts Officially, Finally, Undoubtedly Confirmed for Wii U
Activision this morning have confirmed that Call of Duty: Ghosts is coming to the Wii U.
Finally.
The latest installment in the multi-billion dollar franchise has been announced for months now but the existence of a Wii U version never confirmed for some reason.
Call of Duty: Ghosts features an all new world, story, characters and is powered by an all new engine. This time around instead of playing as part of a large army force you’re the underdogs against superior numbers and firepower. Speaking of dogs, a dog called Riley joins your squad. No really didn’t you see the gif?
The Wii U version of the game will include support for the Wii Remote and the return of second screen gameplay on the Wii U GamePad. The game is due out November 5th alongside all the other versions of the game.
Overnight Activision also confirmed 5 other Wii U titles coming to the Wii U later this year, Skylanders SWAP Force, Angry Birds Trilogy, Angry Birds Star Wars, SpongeBob SquarePants: Plankton’s Robotic Revenge and Wipeout Create & Crash. While Skylanders is a confirmed lock for release the rest of the games have not been confirmed for release in Australia.
Activision’s track record for lower-tier games in this country means we’re unlikely to get them at all.
At the very least Skylanders and Ghosts should arrive in Australia!
