Bucking the Switch-tax trend, FIFA 18 will be cheaper on Switch in Australia

Much cheaper at Target too.

The whole $10 Switch Tax, as it has come to be known, sucks. We know why it’s happening (cartridges) but it still shouldn’t be a thing consumers have to wear.

There is one game coming however that is bucking the trend, one you wouldn’t expect.

FIFA 18 for the Nintendo Switch will be $10 less than the other consoles in Australia. EB Games, who are purveyors of the recommended retail price have the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions are going for $99.95 and the Switch will be $89.95.

That’s still expensive, so while it’s a bit early for a typical bargain guide we thought we would share this as well. Target will have the game for just $69 when it launches, that’s a pretty hefty discount and looks great right next to the other version.
