Buy eShop games from your PC and smartphone later this year

Before the years is out you’ll be able able to buy Wii U and 3DS eShop games from your smartphone or PC a new report suggests.
You’ll no longer need to be at home in front of your Wii U or have your 3DS with you to buy eShop games. The report also suggests you’ll be able to manage your Nintendo Network account from the same system.
This move will allow people who don’t own a 3DS or Wii U to browser and see what’s available on the eShop, something Nintendo needs if they plan on boosting their digital offering.
Sales of digital versions of Nintendo games rose over 150% year on year, this will only go up if more people can see what’s available.

Nintendo, I know you’re not reading this, anyway, improvements like these are welcomed but I seriously hope you guys are developing some system sellers for the Wii U. We actually need games to utilise this system, Mario Kart 8, Smash and the unknown new Zelda game are the only system sellers on the Wii U horizon and I’m not even sure if they alone will save the Wii U.
Sure games like Bayonetta / Fire Emblem x SMT are nice but people aren’t going to rush out to buy a Wii U just for those singular games, they need a massive array of good games to choose from.
How is it possible that a game like Dead or Alive 5 didn’t come to the Wii U? Dead or Alive Dimensions on the 3DS even had a cameo from Samus and Ridley, you should have reached out to collaborate with Team Ninja and included some Nintendo characters you could fight with.
Bring out the big guns Nintendo, develop a new Metroid Prime, talk to your friends at Konami and Capcom (You are friends with them right?) Just. do. something. What about a new Punch Out? A new Kid Icarus game for the Wii U? Super Mario Sunshine 2 or Super Mario Galaxy 3? Secure Monster Hunter for Nintendo consoles only. Why is there no Metal Gear Solid V on the Wii U? Buy ATLUS while you have the chance. Invest in developing sequels on the Wii U for games that have sold well on the 3DS, convince 3DS users to purchase Wii U’s.
I understand that Western developers aren’t interested in helping you with the Wii U, they have their own agendas and relationships with Sony / Microsoft but your relationships with developers in Japan should be A+.
Carpe diem.
