Breath of the Wild team accept Golden Joystick Award in humourous video

The 35th Golden Joystick Awards were on last night and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild took away one of the top awards the “Ultimate Game of the Year”.
The development team accepted the award with a video, the team was grateful that Super Mario Odyssey missed the cutoff for the award. Imagine having to compete with your own company for Game of the Year.

For me, really well deserved. If I was voting, I wouldn’t have been worried at all by Super Mario Odyssey. SMO is great but for me, BOTW was something really really special. However, I know I might be in the minority with that opinion.

I know this is a Nintendo site and all but it’s a little sad that cuphead is xbox’s goty. Step up MS!
