Ever wanted to be a king or queen? Why not both?

During last night’s Nindies Showcase, Nintendo announced that both Reigns and its sequel, Reigns: Her Majesty, will be coming to the Nintendo Switch in an exclusive compilation called Reigns: Kings and Queens. Developed by London studio Nerial and published by Devolver Digital, Reigns: Kings and Queens is a card-based adventure game in which you take control of a monarch as you try to keep your subjects (and yourself!) alive and happy. If the mobile and Steam releases are anything to go by, that is… not as easy as it sounds.

That’s not all though. Exclusive to the Switch version of the games is an all-new co-op mode, which presumably has you and a friend take control of both a king and a queen at the same time, though details are light at the moment. Reigns: Kings & Queens is set to arrive in Spring in the US, which is Autumn for us south of the equator.

We’ll update this article with more details as they come.
