Bit. Trip Void unveiled
The third game in this rhythm series will feature, for the first time, complete control over movement, as well as Nunchuk and Classic Controller support
Bit. Trip, a series of rhythm WiiWare games developed by Gaijin Games, has had quite a gameplay change between the first two games. The first release, Beat, was reminiscent of Pong, while the second had you firing lasers in one of four directions at a time to hit the beats. The third game now announced, named Void, sees you move a void anywhere you wish on the screen to catch the right coloured notes.
Included for the first time in Void will be optional Nunchuck and Classic Controller support, as well as mid-level checkpoints to assist players through the tough levels. Four-player co-op again makes a return in the game, and this time the music is composed by renowned chiptune artist Nullsleep.
"BIT.TRIP VOID completes the first chapter in CommanderVideo’s journey with a synesthetic exploration of mind/beat interaction. But as one chapter ends, another begins…" stated Alex Neuse, designer at Gaijin Games. "We hope that you find this game as beautiful as we do, and we can’t wait to make another one for you. Keep rockin’!"
A date hasnt been announced yet for Bit. Trip Voids arrival on the WiiWare service, but you should check out the trailer below if youre interested.
