Ben Judd, the producer of Capcom / GRiNS’s up and coming Bionic Commando revival title, has revealed that Nintendo didn’t allow him to put the original Bionic Commando up on the Virtual Console service. In an interview with 1UP, Judd, a self proclaimed fan of the series, admitted to wanting to put up the title on the service, most probably to coincide with the release of the remake this week on other consoles. More inside It’s unknown as to why Nintendo don’t want the original up on Virtual Console, though some may think it has something to do with the Nazi themes in the game – though nothing has been confirmed just yet. Nintendo seem to have such a strong grip on the Virtual Console and WiiWare, yet they are doing so little with it. Will we see them let up in the future?
