Instead the original action-packed Prince of Persia games we already knew, Ubisoft has decided to take a different approach for the Nintendo DS version: card-based battling!

Set between the stories of Sands of Time and Warrior Within, the prince ‘accidentally’ starts a war between Persia and India by releasing an ancient evil. In the game, players will command units and troops, as well as control fights via a card-battle system.

Currently, both single and multiplayer features are said to be included. Where the single-card wireless feature will allow head-to-head battles, players will also be able to play a hotseat game with friends using only one Nintendo DS, or trade cards with other players.
