The Batman has a new voice.
Warner Bros. has today confirmed the voice cast for Batman: Arkham Origins alongside a new trailer for the game and the box art.
Batman will be voiced by Roger Craig Smith and Joker by Troy Baker. Both actors are new to roles previously voiced by Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamil. It has been confirmed that Kevin Conroy will be in the game in some capacity but not as Batman.
Roger Craig Smith has previously voiced some characters you may have heard of including Ezio Auditore from Assassin’s Creed, Chris Redfield from Resident Evil and Sonic the Hedgehog. So he has a good range at least. Troy Baker most recently played Booker DeWitt in Bioshock Infinite among many others.
Batman: Arkham Origins is currently in development by WB Games Montreal and is coming to the Wii U later this year. The Nintendo 3DS will receive a side game called Batman: Arkham Origins – Blackgate.
It would appear though at the Wii U version is not receiving the Deathstroke pre-order bonuses. The Wii U box art is the only one without the promotion of the DLC on it.
Makes sense to us.
It's Black, Back Again.
