Bargain Roundup: Nintendo Black Friday Deals for Australia 2018
As the ‘traditional’ black Friday period approaches there will be some good offers, hopefully for us looking to scoop up a bargain. Because the black Friday ‘day’ is so loose here, some stores are offering deals now, some across a couple of days and some just on the day.
This article will contain a bunch of them, the only official ‘Nintendo’ sale is the Mario Party + Joy-Con bundle, everything else will be up to retailers. We’re hoping to see some deals on the eShop as well, we’ll cover that in the weekly download article.
We’ll continue updating this article throughout the weeked!
Note: If you’re an international reader, these prices will be in AUD unless specified or it’s from a retailer that ships to Australia. If you see a better deal on the day, let us know in the comments.

“Starlink: Battle for Atlas – Starter Pack – $62”
That’s a pretty crazy price, basically 50% of RRP. Sounds like it would be worth it for that price.
If you’re not fussed with the physical toys, wait to see if there’s a digital sale. The digital bundles come with WAY more DLC than the physical ones, for the same RRP.
Amazon AU have matched this price so can get from them for $62 right now.
Wow…I feel sorry for those suckers who bought starlink on day 1…suckers like me 🙁
Good get for those who haven’t yet
Hasbro Game Night is about $55 on Amazon. I’ve ordered it a couple of days ago, but it is yet to ship (as I ordered something else with it).
Plus, being over $50, it should be eligible for free standard shipping.
Fifa Champions Edition is ridiculously cheap though. I paid full price on day one like a sucker. 😛
You might want to add that EB Games has Mario & Rabbids Gold Edition for $47, which seems to be the cheapest price for it. This is important because while the game at $28 is an amazing deal, the season pass is $30 – the eShop sale is only for the complete Gold Edition, and doesn’t cover any DLC on its own. So Gold Edition is a better deal.
Thanks for this! It didn’t come up in the list of sales when we were scouring the EB website last night. We’ve added it to the article 🙂
JB is currently selling The Fractured But Whole on Switch for $29. Disgaea 1 is also only $49. There may be a few other bargains that have escaped my attention.
