The busy time of the year is upon us and what better time for EB Games to offer up some juicy discounts… on eShop cards.
That’s right EB Games has 20% off all denominations of eShop credit in store. That’s a choice of $15, $30 or $60 which brings in some good discounts;
- $15 becomes $12 – save $3
- $30 becomes $24 – save $6
- $60 becomes $48 – save $12
These can of course be redeemed on both the Wii U and the 3DS and it means you could save a ton of some of the big games out this year or get some nice discounts on indie or Virtual Console titles. Those things never go on sale!

Would these cards work if I opted to use the European eShop instead of the Australia equivalent?
Would these cards work if my Wii U was set to the European eShop instead of the Australian equivalent? Not sure if the codes are country-specific despite both being PAL. Thanks!

Hmm… do we have a confirmed price for Smash on the eShop yet?
It will be full retail price (i.e. $79.95 for Wii U, $59.95 for 3DS).
There should be $80 giftcard for Wii U games.
