Bargain Alert: 10% off $30 eShop cards at Big W from this Thursday

Bargains on the eShop are common but you can’t chose what to get cheaper, so when eShop cards go on sale it’s time to stock up to stack those savings on.

From this Thursday (March 10th) retailer Big W will have 10% off 30% eShop cards, that might not seem like a lot ($3) but if you got a few it would add up.

It’s also possible it’s 10% off all eShop cards and only the $30 one is pictured, 10% off $100 would be nice too – we’ll leave the story as it is now and advise on Thursday, don’t get your hopes up.

Big W has been making a strong play for your Nintendo coin this year with below-cost pricing on Twilight Princess HD their most recent effort, what’s next – cheap controllers?

They are discounting the $30 eShop cards only. The older Zelda and newer Luigi types both work with 10% off. Buy a Big W (not WIDH) giftcard with $100 value selected and it will cost you $90.

Use the bought and activated Big W giftcard to purchase your $30 eShop card(s) and they will scan at $27 each in a new transaction. Buy as many discounted Big W giftcards to pay for your discounted eShop cards wih 10%+10% stacked savings. Confirmed this works as I did this today instore with assisted checkouts. Enjoy!
