Famed game creator is bringing their latest creation to Switch
Former Arkedo Studio head Aurelien Regard is bringing his next title to Nintendo Switch. Away is a first person rogue-lite game. The teaser trailer, shown below, showcases the game’s inspired art style while providing a look at some of its oddball characters, foes, and locations that will be encountered on your journey to the unexpected.
“I’ve been a long-time fan of first person games, but most of the time, you’re either facing realistic war or very abstract universes. I’ve been waiting for a long time to play this type of games in a different, colorful setting, filled with joyful or wacky characters you can interact with. Also, sometimes I really miss the silliness of the 90’s anime shows we grew up with in Europe. This is how this project started, and I hope others will enjoy this experience as much as we enjoy creating it!” says Aurelien Regard.
The game does not have a planned release window as of yet, its only listed as 2017, so it is likely we won’t see this until later in the year.
