2K Games has announced that the PC classic Sid Meier’s Pirates! is heading to the Wii later this year. Developed by 2K China, the Wii version will contain all the ship navigation, pirate ship battles and sword fights of the previous games in the series. No doubt the motion controls of the Wii Remote will come into play somewhere.
"We are big fans of the Wii and think Pirates! is the perfect game to bring to that platform," says Sid Meier, director of creative development at Firaxis Games, and designer of the Sid Meier’s Pirates! series. "We’re sure Wii fans will enjoy the timeless adventure of being a pirate captain on the high seas as much as all of our other fans have!"
There are 27 fully customisable ships to captain and all the traditional Pirates! mini-games are back, plus two new extra ones for the Wii only.
Drawing Quest III HD-2D Remake, Tetris Forever, LEGO Horizon Adventures, Petit Island, Little Big Adventure,…
And it looks Grand.
