I tried it this morning, but uninstalled it after 10 minutes. The controls are poorly executed, in particular that you need to tilt the controller to look up and down.
I turned the motion controls off, much more enjoyable after that.
Yes! How bad is that control scheme with the tilting! Completely unecessary. I never got into the original Splatoon. Not for me unfortunately.
Was it just me, or were graphics pretty bloody average also?
You can turn the motion controls off – the only problem I had with the controls was the changes from the original – kept bringing up the map instead of jumping
