Nintendo has finally announced the release date for the Wii U version of Super Smash Bros.
The game will be released in Australia on December 6th in various bundles and configurations. On the same day the GameCube Controller adapter for Wii U and the Smash Bros edition of the GameCube controller will also be released.
Europe also get their release date, the game is out there on December 5th and North America get the game on November 21st, the bastards. Europe is also getting a bundle of the game that includes a Mario Amiibo figure. So far it doesn’t look like Aussies will be getting it.
Here’s the local pricing for everything announced tonight, the ones we don’t have we’ll be following up with Nintendo for in the morning.
Australian Super Smash Bros. Pricing
That’s only $10 more for the adapter with the game. However if you wish to buy them separately (or later) the GameCube Controller adapter will be able to be purchased from Nintendo Australia if you don’t wish to buy it with the game. Nintendo have confirmed the adapter does work with Wavebird controllers as well.
The trailer below features the European release date for Smash Bros. and Amiibo.
