Australian Nintendo Downloads (21/5) Let’s get textural
Wii U owners what a week for you! First up, new indie hotness with Swords & Soldiers II blasting its way onto the second. We hope to have a review of that one up for you shortly.
Let’s continue now with Kirby’s Epic Yarn, the latest Wii game to make its way to the eShop and its cheap for the first week too! Cheaper than trying to find a copy in stores at least! Not sure about Epic Yarn? Why not check out our original review for it.
Next up, Paper Mario – the Nintendo 64 and some might say the best… we’ll leave that up to you to fight about in the comments. It’s also pretty cheap consider if you were to look for an actual cartridge you’d been looking at over $100 at the moment. Funny how that is.
Last but not least Curve Digital have all their games on sale for a crazy 50% off. That’s Stealth Inc 2, Thomas Was Alone, Lone Survivor, The Swapper and OlliOlli! Those are some of the best indie games on the eShop and we think you should check them out (or at least read our reviews).
So what’s on the agenda for you this week then?

Kirby and Thomas Was Alone for me. Avoid Paper Mario as it is the PAL version unfortunately.
What’s wrong with the PAL version? I was thinking of getting it because I haven’t played it but I loved Thousand Year Door on Gamecube.
What’s the problem with the PAL version? If it’s just a 50hz thing that’s not so big of a deal for this sort of game or does it have some different, crappy localisation?
Don’t avoid Paper Mario. Its an awesome game.
First week in a while I’ll be buying something. Kirby and Paper Mario for $26.00, sounds like a pretty good deal to me
Kirby Epic Yarn is showing up as $19.50 on my Wii U
Fixed! Smaller discount than expected.
Definitely picking up Epic Yarn, the soundtrack alone is worth the $19.50 asking price.
