Australian Nintendo Download Updates (30/4) Successor to the Sales
Welcome back to another week of downloading! This is the last day of April, before heading into a very crazy May of Nintendo games. If the Kirby games on sale haven’t given it away, the first big retail release is Kirby! So have a look at this week’s sales on both 3DS and Wii U Kirby classics, and if you own any of them, you get a nice discount off the eShop version of Kirby and the Rainbow Paintbrush! A 10% discount, to be exact!
The Wii U is also getting a small justification for owning too many amiibo. Or is that just me? Well in any case, you can tap in your amiibo collection into Touch & Play, and unlock snippets of all your favourite Nintendo classics. Otherwise, you can download Sin & Punishment: Successor of the Skies, a more obscure Wii game… well, obscure next to Mario and Donkey Kong, at least! Funny story about Sin & Punishment: Successor of the Skies, it was never actually officially released in Australia. JB Hi-Fi made the bold move of importing UK stock to sell, but it was never published by Nintendo Australia here.
The 3DS misses out on the bulk of new releases, but hey, if you didn’t get Mewtwo as part of the Club Nintendo offer, you can now buy him! Why not watch our video on all the latest DLC for Smash Bros. while you’re here?
And that about wraps it up! Tell us what you’re grabbing this week in the comments below!

Remember to buy 3D Classics: Kirby’s Adventure on 3DS instead of the NES version on Wii U because of 50hz lameness.
Also sale prices for the 3DS games are off:
Dedede’s Drum Dash: 6.35
Kirby’s Adventure: 6.00
The Other Three: 2.25
Why the hell are they continuing to shovel horrible PAL versions of games on to us? I mean I can understand that for PS2/Gamecube era and newer games as the frame rate loss isn’t very noticeable with those systems and their games.
There’s a 2nd Star Wars pinball pack which should be listed under Wii U Add on Content. Can’t remember the name, but it’s 3 tables for $14.95 or so.
