The radically huge Nintendo 3DS price drop has now taken effect in stores across Australia. The 3DS is now $249.95, down $100 from it’s initial launch price. However some retailers are taking it even further by offering the system for even cheaper. We’ve listed them below.

We’ve got reports that GAME are selling the 3DS with Ocarina of Time for $248 but have been unable to confirm this.
This might be a great time to buy a 3DS especially if you’ve been holding out for a price drop. The Christmas season is coming up, but who knows if it will be cheap again. Who’s jumping in and picking up a 3DS now?

As of today, Nintendo will drop the suggested retail price of its portable Nintendo 3DS system to $249.95. Previously Nintendo 3DS had a suggested retail price of $349.95.
Nintendo 3DS has a strong software lineup coming up and the new price now opens up the glasses-free 3D experience to many more consumers. Building on the popularity of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, which launched June 30, the upcoming game calendar is a Who’s Who of iconic video game franchises. Star Fox 64 3D arrives on September 15, followed by Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7 by the end of 2011.
