The first batch of extra chapters for the WiiWare episodic sequel to the classic RPG Final Fantasy IV has finally been made available

Veteran characters of the first game- Palom, Edge, and Yang- are the first chapters in the series of DLC to hit the game since the release of the main base package launched alongside Rydia’s chapter last month on June 5th. Each chapter will set you back 300 points. The content will cover the plot following on from the end of Rydia’s tale, and focus on each of the chapters titular characters. The chapters can be purchased through the ‘Additional Content’ menu on the game’s title screen. The next batch of three chapters is expected to be available in the first week of August, whereas the final conclusive chapter isn’t expected until September and will cost 800 points.

Personally, I grabbed the base pack and Rydia’s tale on day one and have loved every minute of it. The addition of three new chapters this week will be welcomed by many other retro RPG fans looking to WiiWare for their Final Fantasy fix.
