We confirmed for you last week that Metroid Prime 3 Corruption would be heading to our stores on November 8th but now it seems that Mario Galaxy may also have a November release date. However its pinch of salt oclock on this one as it just seems too good to be true. Four different online retailers in Australia are now showing the release date for Mario Galaxy in to be November 15th, a mere week after Metroids Aussie date and just three days after the Americans. Now dont get too excited yet because the chance of this happening is very slim. Our usual source for early release dates has yet to list a date for Mario Galaxy.

While Metroid and Galaxy within the space of a week would be entirely awesome it most likely wont happen as Nintendo Australia rarely distribute two high profile games in the same month (Tales of Symphonia and Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door for the GameCube is a notable exception). Look forward to Metroid Prime 3 Corruption for the 8th though because this one is indeed locked in.

Oh and anyone hoping that Galaxy hitting in November means Super Smash Bros Brawl hitting in December must live in a place where pigs fly. If December is indeed left free expect games such as Fire Emblem, BWii, or any other yet to be released games to fill the slot.
