Aussie Nintendo Download Updates (29/3) Slender Freedom Evil
It might be halloween, but there’s nothing to fear in this weeks update. There’s actually a lot of great stuff here, most of it for the Wii U.
First up, brand new indie titles in the form of Freedom Planet and Slender: The Arrival. There’s also Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition now available to download and for a really great price- seriously, download this. On Saturday Project Zero will release as well a trial version so you can play through the start of the game to see if you like it.
On both the Wii U and 3DS there’s a huge Bandai Namco sale. There’s some great games in there amongst the chaff and for some great prices.
So then, anything for you?

I was just thinking Slender: The Arrival would be a good fit for the Wii U and was wondering whether or not they were working on a Wii U version, but it looks like my questions been answered here.
Also I thoroughly recommend Resident Evil 4. The Wii controls are great for it and it’s a great game in general.
I recently played the disc version of RE4 Wii on the Wii U. It’s still a fun game to play but it’s definitely showing it’s age (unfortunately).
RE4 Wii still looks good….on a CRT TV.
I preferred the Gamecube version of RE4. Whilst it lacked the extra trimmings like 3rd costumes with matching weapons, and additional campaigns, it had live-cutscenes and it was definitely harder and chockful with way more enemies (especially during the mass spawns).
Every version post-Gamecube seems to be ports of the ps2 version.
