Aussie Nintendo Download Updates (20/10) – Sweet Sixteen

Remember last week, when I said “look forward to 10 more games next week!” Well… make that 16 games. There’s a lot to unpack here, but Fire Emblem Warriors, Jackbox Party Pack 4, and a ton of other games are all there, waiting to be explored! All of this is on top of the new sales section in the eShop, and of course the big new firmware update. So much to download!

The 3DS isn’t getting ignored though, with Etrian Odyssey V and Fire Emblem Warriors on the retail download front. There’s also a trio of demos to try out, and the usual list of sales. The Wii U has a singular download, and the usual sales.

So, what’s your pick for this week? Be sure to drop a comment below!

So many great games! But are these 16 Bit games really worth $40 plus? I feep that it will restrict gamers choice in purchasing, $15-$20 seems to be the sweet spot for indie releases.

The Touhou DLC is just despicable. It’s only 1MB meaning that the data is already on the cartridge, and it’s 60 cents!!!

They decided to lock away content from the cartridge for 60 G.D. measly freakin’ cents!!!

So ludicrously stupid! I’d rather have paid an extra $10 and at least have all of the content available on the cartridge without paid unlocks/mandatory downloads. I’ve seen stupid DLC before, but this is something else. The piggies aren’t happy with the already high asking price of $50 and want an extra 60c in their trough. 60 monumental, gargantuan, debt-exterminating cents!!! After Nintendo takes their cut, what does NIS even get out of it?! Plus, the character roster is embarrassingly thin as it is, and they decide to arbitrarily lock a character away (who knows if there are others) all for 60 cents!!!
