Aussie Nintendo Download Updates (15/9) – Rayman Returns
Another beefy week for the Switch this week! 10 new releases, and a demo! Rayman Legends is probably the standout this week, why not read a review if you’re on the fence? There’s also some great indie titles this week, so take the time to browse through the new releases!
The 3DS, however, has the return of Samus! The Metroid II remake is finally here for download this Saturday! We have a review over here, aren’t we great for that? You can also pre-purchase the original Johto Pokemon games, Gold and Silver versions, ahead of their release next week!
And of course, 3DS and Wii U have a hefty list of sales- Wii U actually doesn’t have anything new this week at all! But enough about me, what about you? What are you grabbing this week? Let us know in the comments below! (Bonus points if you find the hidden Luigi in the header image!)

I find it odd that NBA 2K18 Legend Gold edition is absent from the Aussie eShop. I get why they wouldn’t sell the retail edition here, but to withhold the eShop release makes no sense whatsoever.
We believe this to be related to the eShop wallet having a max limit- Canada had an issue where they couldn’t buy it because it was more than the max wallet amount. We’ll let you know if things change!
Quest of Dungeons, not quest of dragons
Thank you for the correction- doing these at midnight after being awake at 7:30am for the Direct means something was bound to slip through!
Next time, can you also show all eshop sales for Japan and US? I am sure they would get sales that we don’t, we have a lot of experience with this especially on 3ds sales.
Hi there! Vooks is an Australian based Nintendo news and community site, so our weekly eShop updates are based on the Australian eShops. We do this manually- we don’t get any PR email from Nintendo like other regions! We do quite often miss out on sales that other regions have, so we just try to report on what we *do* get. Sorry!
