There's more new stuff on the Wii U this week...
We can’t believe it but it only took Nintendo two weeks to make the Nintendo Switch eShop go from promising to disappointing.
This week on the eShop we get only King of Fighters 94, another Neo Geo game. North America? They get previously mentioned King of Fighters title, all three Tomorrow Corporation games and The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+.
It might be easy to say, oh well we can just make a US account quickly and download these – that much is true. But should we have to? Should we have to source US eShop credit if our credit cards are blocked from the international store. Should we have to split up our My Nintendo rewards points?
Just because a system is region free and we can access any store shouldn’t mean Nintendo and other developers should get lazy. Why isn’t The Binding of Isaac out in Australia too? Why is there only one Tomorrow Corporation game set for next week and not three? Why are there none of the Nindie games that Nintendo showed off just two weeks ago filling the ‘Coming Soon’ section of the eShop.
Why doesn’t Mario Kart 8 Deluxe have a listed release date on the eShop, Nintendo’s own game.
These aren’t questions we should have to be asking two weeks after launch. Maybe we’re expecting too much, but at least show off the brilliant Nindie games on the system that will eventually have them.
Get in quick, they go fast.
