Aussie Nintendo Download Update (11/12) – Fast Jam Heist Advance
This might just have to be one the biggest eShop weeks in some time. We’re not talking about volume here but just the insane number of great games out this week means you’re going to have to decide carefully where you money goes or you could be parting with quite a bit of it.
First up, indies! For better or worse there are three big eShop indie games this week. One on the Wii U, two on the 3DS. First the Wii U gets FAST Racing Neo from Shin’en – they’re the ones who can make any console do amazing things. This is the F-Zero or Wipeout replacement you’ve been waiting for.
On the 3DS we’ve got an indie stalwart in the form of Terraria making its way to the portable console. It’s also coming to the Wii U at some point but for now 3DS owners can pick it up. After amazing us with Steamworld Dig, Image&Form are back with SteamWorld Heist! We’re reviewing it right now and should have a verdict on that one shortly.
Back to Nintendo now, after a week delay Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam Bros is here for Australia and New Zealand. If you were worried about that wait just remember Europe don’t get Yo-Kai Watch until next year. There’s also two Game Boy Advance games to check out, Solarium an old favourite of ours here – maybe give it a shot?
If you got the money of course. So then, what are you picking up?

Is this the week I update and break homebrew for Steamworld Heist… Anyone else in this predicament?
What entry point are you using? I’m on the latest firmware and still able to use Homebrew.
Getting Fast Racing Neo for sure.
Never jumped on Terraria on PC, might jump on it now that I can get it on my 3DS.
That’s like the 5th time this year SMT IVs gone on sale; honestly should have just waited rather than getting it at launch but I was impatient. It’s a great game though that will keep you occupied for a while, just be aware that its quite hard at the beginning.
Any chance we’ll know the prices before they actually hit the eShop?
There’s no Aussie PR so there is usually guess work or previous trends used.
Yeeess, I’ve been waiting for Terraria on the 3DS since it was first announced way back. Loving the touch screen use. 🙂
