Aussie Bargain Roundup: Puyo Puyo Tetris

Puyo Puyo Tetris will finally arrive in Australian stores this week after a small delay and in that two weeks we’ve been able to find some bargains for you.
Leading the way yet again is Target with a mere $45, we’re still waiting on more stores but locally they’re your best bet. If you import, well things are a little more cheaper but you’ll be waiting even longer.
If you’re not sitting on the fence, why not read our review of the game? We liked it!

Cheers for the heads up, even for little titles such as this. 🙂 I was bummed that the Wii U version had never left Japan, but this is even better (and it saves me from double dipping. Triple dipping had the 3DS version been localised as well!).
I doubt that anybody will be beating Target. $45 is a decent price, though games of this simplicity really shouldn’t be sold for anything over $30 IMO. Nevertheless, my friends really enjoyed the demo the other night, and I’m sure that I will get my money’s worth from this. I’m really looking forward to the likes of Monopoly coming to the system as well, and I hope that other board games and TV game shows follow suit. The Switch is the perfect platform for these kinds of pick-up-and-play games, whilst still being able to be played on a TV.
Thanks Target, you’ve made the two week wait for the game worth it. While it was tempting to get it digital, I just thought it’d be nice to build up a physical library for switch.
How are Target able to undercut the market so much? It’s like every title is a great discount.
They are likely charging cost price in an effort to establish a loyal customer base.
It wouldn’t surprise me if the margin is around 40% (which is pretty standard), making the cost price around $40. Makes no sense to charge below or at cost seeing as most of us will only be walking in for the game itself, and not shopping around for the hottest new Chinese sweatshop fashions. 😛
US Eshop is $30 around 40Aus best deal.
Forgot to change the pasted text for OzGameShop (UK).
I bought puyo puyo tetris last night on us eshop which works out to approx $43 aus (including sales tax). So better value if you dont want to keep switching carts out and save you a drive to the store
But don’t you need to switch profiles on the Switch to play different games from the different stores? I thought there was something particularly inconvenient about their “region free” implementation.
No, once you launch a game it asks what profile is playing anyway.
Source for target? EB games needs source either site or catalogue, but there is none.
