Aussie Bargain Roundup: Metroid Prime Federation Force

Better than Border Force at least.

The week you’ve all been waiting for is here, Metroid Prime: Federation Force arrives this Saturday. We published this guide a week ago, but don’t worry it’s now been updated with the freshest prices.

After a pretty disastrous original showing and panning from fans, Metroid Prime; Federation Force has actually reviewed quite well, we don’t have our hands on the game yet so we can’t tell you how it is – but it’s not a disaster like many were predicting. Not only that, how often do you get a first person shooter on the 3DS?

Here’s Nintendo’s description of the game;

Get on board the Federation Force to join a four-player local or online squad in this fun new co-op sci-fi shooter exclusive to Nintendo 3DS. Team up alongside mates in your specialised Mech to eliminate the Space Pirate menace and any threat that stands in your way.

Make it a solitary mission or join 3 friends for increased firepower, deeper strategies and whole lot of fun! In each mission, you’ll choose your role on the team by selecting from different subweapons and MODs to customise your Mech and maximise your chance of survival.

We will of course, as always keep an eye out for a better deal and keep the guide updated. If you see a bargain yourself, let us know in the comments.
