Aussie Bargain Roundup: Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle (Updated)
It was only weeks ago we officially saw Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle announced at E3 and there’s only one more week until it’s actually here!
We’ve got some good news on the bargain front for you as well. Target, Big W, and JB Hi-Fi all have the game for $20 off RRP. It’s such a good deal.
Look out for our review of the game soon.
Notes: As always if you see a cheaper price let us know here in the comments, on Twitter or Facebook. Don’t panic! Our guides are prepared a couple of weeks before release, retailers usually don’t put the current catalogues on their website to the week of release. We’ll keep the guide updated with links so you can price match if you need to

Mighty Ape sounds like a pretty good deal with the preorder stuff. Never purchased anything from there though. Not that I have a Switch anyway…
I’m getting the collector’s edition soooooo I’m paying the chump price
The JB HiFi link is showing it at $69 at the moment, not $89.
Nice.
(Thanks! I’ve updated the article.)
Target is the real winner here 🙂
Good guy Target.
I’ll price match JB with EB due to both having the preorder DLC
Thanks for the article Vooks. Does anyone have an idea at how late you can pre-order the game at EB Games? I’m keen to see where the reviews land before getting it but would also like to take advantage of the pre-order bonus if possible.
You can pre-order up to and including the day before the game launches and still receive the bonus.
At retail, it seems that JB is offering the best value. $69 with the pre-order bonus. Mighty Ape’s pricing is excellent, but I don’t need the Clean and Protect Pack (that’s for chumps who neglect to take care of their things), and shipping costs will negate the $4 saving.
Does this mean copies that don’t say they include the pre-order DLC don’t have it? Thought it was a day one bonus for all copies.
FYI, in case this has happened to others. I pre-ordered the game from JB hifi and did not get the code when I went to pick up my game today. The store claimed that it was either an online-only offer (this was not stated on their website) or the offer doesn’t exist. I know JB hifi did advertise the preorder bonus. Here it is in their STACK magazine: https://stack.com.au/games/games-news/mario-rabbids-kingdom-battle-bwahpera/
Bottom line, BEWARE OF PREORDERING GAMES FROM JB HiFi. Not the first time this has happened to me. I didn’t get the Horizon Zero Dawn pre-order bonus either (only realised when I got home, too late to do anything, thought it was a simple mistake). I won’t be preordering anything from JB HiFi again.
@Stacy
I just walked into JB today with no pre-order to pick up the game and they printed the code on an additional receipt. Might be worth returning and trying a different store?
Want to know what’s funny? Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle Gold Edition is $10 cheaper than Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle at EBGames (both games are brand new on the shelf, neither are on special).
