Come this weekend we know there is only one thing you will be playing. That’s The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds and it’s out this Saturday.
Thanks to the impending release of the rest of the next-gen consoles catalogue space has been small for the latest Zelda game – so there’s no many bargain really. It is possible some stores will drop their price closer to the end of the week, but we doubt it.
If you’re desperately keen for a bargain and prepared to wait there are some savings from the import sites, you likely already knew that though.
Oh and if you’re wondering where that Zelda treasure chest went at EB Games, it sold out – months ago.

I’ll gladly pay an extra couple of dollars to get the game before Thursday. If EB let me price match I’ll save the $6 and get the treasure chest but again, I’ll gladly pay the extra $6 for the pre-order bonus. Paying an extra $12 for the game on the day and it comes with a treasure chest that makes the noise (!) is worth it to me.
What happened to the limited edition gold 3DS XL at eb? It’s not longer listed on their sight!

It was sold out a week or two ago I think. The retail pickup copies sold out weeks earlier, the remaining stock were delivery only ones.
Dang, gonna have to order it from Game UK to get the chest. I mean, it’ll also come with a poster and a Link’s Awakening DX download but I’d still have to shell out another $30-45.
Now I gotta ask my TWW HD Ganondorf figurine if I’ll sink to that kind of depravity.

eb have said on facebook that it sold out, thats about as official as it will get. you could always keep looking for one though
Just thought I’d put it out there that my Zelda 3DS XL was shipped out today! 🙂 EB did warn multiple times that stock was extremely limited so if you didn’t pre-order, you were never going to get one. I was planning on buying 2 but the system only let me buy 1, which shows just how limited they were.
I preordered the limited edition Zelda 3ds only a couple of weeks ago. I must of been one of the last people to reserve one. By the way I’m worried that the triforce on the outside will be very hard to see. Is that the case?
EB posted on their Facebook page that they would *not* be honouring the bonus with a price match. I think the Pokemon one was an aberration!
I am getting the console, plus the hard copy game also. If EB tries to mess with me and not give me my musical chest, there will be hell to pay!

If you are buying from Ozgameshop, you will also need to factor in a new charger as it does not come with it.
