The Japanese launch lineup for the Nintendo 3DS has been known for a while, the lineup for the rest of the world is still up in the air under the vague ’launch window’ term Nintendo is using. However, since the rest of the world is getting the 3DS a bit earlier, we’re definitely going to have more choice as to what we’ll be getting on day one.
A local Australian retailer has started to receive mockup boxarts for launch games, there’s no surprises really in the group but you know a system is close when the boxes start showing up at stores. Let’s take a look as to what we’re getting, possibly at launch or soon after.
If you’re wondering where Nintendo’s stuff is, other than the poor Nintendogs+Cats boxart which the retailer has made, they’re more likely to provide their own real slicks… most likely sometime next week. But of course, these boxes are clearly mockups and they’re from a retailer that’s known to make up release dates and prices – but Aussies will have much more choice on titles. Albeit a month later.
Introductory pricing from now until the end of January.
