Looks like everyone is getting ahead of the E3 pack and announcing new games. Gameloft has today announced it’s bringing the free-to-play Asphalt 9: Legends to the Nintendo Switch.

The initial game will be free and you can unlock everything (eventually) without paying. If you want to pay though you can just cut through all that grinding and buy a pack to get you started.

The game is features a huge career mode, online and offline gaming, and split-screen for local play. The game also doesn’t need the Nintendo Switch Online subscription.

There are multiple ways to play it too because its originally a mobile game it has touch screen controls, motion controls, and supports the Pro Controller and Joy-Con options.

Asphalt 9: Legends just this week won a 2019 Apple Design Award meaning it’s one of the best games and applications available on the App Store. Hopefully, the transition to Switch goes well.

The last Asphalt game to hit a Nintendo system was Asphalt 3D back at the launch of the Nintendo 3DS.

The game is out this Winter in Australia… so soon!
