Armored Mewtwo is coming to Pokémon GO this month

To promote the upcoming Pokémon movie, Mewtwo Strikes Back: Evolution — a remake of the 1998 Pokémon: The First Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back — Pokémon GO is getting powered up.

Niantic announced today that Armored Mewtwo will be coming to level five raids from the 10th to the 31st of July. It’s currently unknown how Armored Mewtwo will differ from a standard Mewtwo in GO, and whether or not it will retain the same moves and stats. There’s also some stylish new Mewtwo-themed clothes that will be available to purchase during the event for all those Mewtwo mega-fans to strut their stuff.
