It seems this year is going to be one of those big years for big milestone anniversaries. Joining in the fray is Square Enixs Dragon Quest. Following in Nintendos footsteps, Square will be releasing essentially ROM dumps of NES and SNES versions of the first three Dragon Quest games on a disk.
The disk will include Dragon Quest 1, 2 and 3 from the Famicom and Dragon Quest 1&2 and Dragon Quest 3 from the Super Famicon. The games will be exactly as you dont remember them (because they never came out here) and be playable with the Wii Remote, Classic Controller and GameCube controller. Time to get one of those SNES Club Nintendo controllers then, if you were Japanese of course.
The collection is set for release in September. No pricing or word if any special art books or music will be included as was with the Super Mario 25th Collection. Square Enix says though this wont be the only way theyll celebrate their 25th.
