Last week it was revealed that the PSP was getting a dash of AFL action and now DS owners have something to look forward to, even if it’s not your typical sports game. HES has announced “AFL Mascot Manor” an adventure game featuring the ever-so-animated AFL club mascots – and as you can guess, the title is aimed at kids. You’ll be able to play as any of the 16 team mascots as you battle through 48 different environments.
But if you actually want to play a match of AFL you’ll have to make do with an AFL “mini match” in which you can find and collect cards in the game to boost your team.
“AFL Mascot Manor brings your favourite team mascot to life in this fast paced action adventure that has you running, jumping and battling your way through some incredible 3D worlds”, said David Robles, Business Development Manager for HES.
With the Nintendo DS stomping all over the PSP down here we’re not surprised to see a DS AFL game, we just didn’t think we’d be seeing this one.
