Activision has acquired Bizarre Creations, the UK developer responsible for the Project Gotham Racing series. This move allows Activision to crack into the racing game genre, as well as Bizarre being able to work with a big company, but retain its creative freedom. “”Bizarre Creations is the leading independent developer with a proven track record in developing highly successful and influential original properties, especially in the racing field”” says Activision. More Inside However, dont expect a game out of this new marriage any time soon, or another PGR, as Microsoft has stated it is holding on the Properties. No word either if a Nintendo console or handheld will get a game, but with Activisions new found love for the Wii and DS, anything is possible.
