When Activision and Vivendi Universal merged to become Activision Blizzard, we all knew there was going to be some casualties of the merger, despite what the big wigs say. And now its looking like a number of titles on the Vivendi side are now without a publisher. While early reports had Ghostbusters being cancelled, it has been revealed that Ghostbusters, in addition to Brutal Legend, Wet, Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena, World at Conflict: Soviet Assault and the 50 Cent follow up will now no longer be published by the publishing giant. So what does it mean for these games? More inside With no publisher, these games are now in limbo. Developers for the games have come forward and confirmed that they are still in development with no publisher, it does put a dark shadow on them.
However Activision Blizzard has not been as harsh to the Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, Ice Age and Prototype franchises, keeping them in the publishers fold, along with one more unannounced game. Activision Blizzard has other publishing arms like Blizzard Entertainment and Activision Value that have not been mentioned as of yet and could be published under their names.

More as it happens.
