Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy Plus (say that really fast 5 times) finally has a release date for Australia. Teased during last months Direct we’ll finally get the amiibo enabled game on February 19th. Depending on when the patch for Super Smash Bros. for 3DS arrives it could be the first amiibo enabled game for the system in Australia.

Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy Plus is set to take advantage of almost all of the New Nintendo 3DS features included the addition buttons and the C-Stick.

More details about what amiibo will unlock what has also been confirmed. Not only with the aircraft gain the look and feel of a character but also the attributes as well. The Mario F-22 fighter is the most balanced, the A-10A which is Bowser’s plane is powerful for ground attacks and extra durable. There’s a F-35 “Luigi”, ADF-01 “Fox”, F-14D “Link” and Typhoon “Peach” as well. Being a Bandai Namco game there’s also a couple of Pac-Man skins thrown in as well.

Anyone keen to pick this one up when it’s released in just a couple of weeks?
